What an exhilarating start for Roma, scoring an incredible goal just 22 seconds into the match! Anass Salah-Eddine’s lovely cross was expertly finished by Soulé, marking the fastest goal in Serie A history for the club—talk about setting the tone! Though Mile Svilar made an impressive save to keep it level and Pellegrini came close with a shot just wide, it was thrilling to see the team creating such great chances. A special shoutout to Pellegrini for his skillful play, even if Shomurodov’s powerful shot hit the crossbar instead of finding the net. What a match!
What an exciting match! Just moments after Manu Kone skillfully dodged the offside trap with a clever through ball from Soulé, he danced around Marco Silvestri but unfortunately hit the outside of the near post from a tricky angle. Shomurodov also had a close call, sending a header right at Silvestri from just a few feet away after connecting with another great cross from Soulé. After the break, Silvestri was in fine form, pulling off a fantastic one-handed save on Pellegrini’s header, while Tommaso Baldanzi kept him on his toes. In a nail-biting finish, Artem Dovbyk nearly sealed the win but again, Silvestri was quick to react. Empoli had a thrilling chance at the end with a head from Christian Kouame that just skimmed the post! What a game!
